Identification of Breast Cancer by Adjusting the Value of Histogram

چکیده

The breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women. The most effective method for detection of early breast cancer is mammography. Based on histogram equalization, this paper proposes the method to adjust histogram value in mammography picture to improve the result to identify of breast cancer. The proposed method to adjust, the histogram are adaptively increasing the value of histogram (AIVHE) and gray scale adjustment. These methods provides a convent and effective mechanism to control the rate of contrast enhancement and offers a gradually increment by means brightness of the image to modify the original probability density function(PDF).The simulation results are show that the improvement of mammography image by changing the histogram value.
